About The Position

The Digital Product Manager will help build a hearing aid company’s digital hearing ecosystem from the ground up. Reporting to the VP of R&D, this hands-on individual contributor defines, tests, and delivers digital experiences connecting hearing devices, hearing care professionals, and patients. The role works face-to-face with Software Engineering, R&D, UI/UX, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Marketing, and Sales, and participates actively in daily execution: defining requirements, prioritizing features, reviewing builds, testing solutions, gathering feedback, and making product decisions. Success requires prescription hearing aid experience, comfort working without legacy products or established playbooks, and resourcefulness in building practical solutions with a lean team. The position owns daily product direction, decisions, roadmaps, backlogs, and measurable outcomes for assigned digital hearing solutions. It defines experiences across mobile apps, fitting or clinician software, firmware, cloud services, APIs, remote care, analytics, and device connectivity, ensuring that products work together as a coherent experience for hearing care professionals and patients. The role partners with the Hearing Devices Product Manager when features span hardware, firmware, software, and cloud services. The Digital Product Manager conducts customer discovery, workflow research, usability testing, field evaluations, and concept validation; reviews and tests working software during development; and collaborates with Regulatory, Quality, Privacy, and Cybersecurity on documentation, validation, risk management, and release readiness. The role coordinates launches and releases with Marketing, Sales, Training, Customer Support, and regional teams, tracks product performance, and uses analytics, feedback, and defect trends to guide continuous improvement. The position is on-site in Minnetonka, Minnesota, with domestic and international travel of up to 20%.
