About The Position

KGNS+ is seeking a content producer to create compelling content for broadcast and digital platforms. The producer creates copy, video, and/or pictures for all platforms while coordinating with newsroom staff, including reporters, photographers, the assignment manager, and the news director. The role serves as the newsroom’s digital voice and point person, helping ensure daily and long-term projects—including special-event and breaking-news coverage—are multidimensional. The producer also helps ensure story selection and placement align with newsroom standards for vision and growth.

• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Drive to develop original news content.
• Understanding of digital and social media platforms and strategy.
• Ability to produce with urgency and immediacy.

• Integrity, accountability, and teamwork.
• Broadcast journalism experience.
• A media-related bachelor's degree.
• A clean driving record.
• Availability to work various schedules as needed.

Responsibilities
