GESI is expanding and is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist in Vaughan, Ontario. GESI, formerly part of GFL Environmental Inc., is a high-growth environmental services company backed by private equity firms. Requirements
- Verified history of improving organic performance and data-driven decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of technical SEO and current AI marketing trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent practical experience.
- Analytics: GA4 (Complex reporting), Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Looker Studio.
- SEO & Research: Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Trends, Keyword Planner, Page Speed Insights.
- AI & Tools: Google Gemini (AI adeptness), Dato CMS, Excel/Google Sheets (Advanced computation).
- Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional collaboration, presentation building, and problem-solving, along with the ability to translate complex data into clear, high-level presentations.
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead digital marketing initiatives with a focus on SEO, AI optimization, and performance reporting.
- Work closely with web developers and content creators to optimize project outcomes and improve organic performance.
- Research keywords and develop localized search positions for the flagship site.
- Create "AI-friendly" content and stay ahead of emerging SEO best practices.
- Execute content updates and publishing via Dato CMS.
- Build GA4 and Looker Studio dashboards to report trends and performance to senior leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with web developers and content creators to optimize project outcomes.
