Digital Marketing Manager (SF/LA/NYC)

Gantri•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Gantri is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to run its digital marketing engine across paid social, paid search, email, SMS, affiliate, and on-site conversion. The role owns cross-channel performance and is accountable for building a multi-touch attribution reporting system that identifies the sources of DTC revenue and informs future investment. The position emphasizes clean data, documented processes, reliable weekly reporting, and campaign calendars planned well in advance. The manager plans, budgets, and forecasts DTC marketing spend; manages the paid media and email/SMS agency relationships; coordinates campaigns around launches and other brand moments; and partners with creative, ecommerce, and product teams to improve marketing performance and the on-site funnel. The role reports to the Head of Brand.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of digital marketing or growth experience for a DTC brand, with a proven record of growing DTC revenue and the ability to explain results using performance numbers.
  • Experience with a design-led brand in home, lifestyle, beauty, fashion, or an adjacent category, and understanding of how considered-purchase, aesthetics-driven products are sold online.
  • Exceptional quantitative skills, including comfort building and maintaining attribution models, cohort analyses, LTV/CAC models, and spend forecasts in spreadsheets or BI tools.
  • Understanding of platform-reported attribution limitations and methods of triangulating results through incrementality testing, MMM, or post-purchase surveys.
  • Hands-on knowledge of the ecommerce stack, including Klaviyo or equivalent, Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, and at least one attribution or analytics platform such as Northbeam, Triple Whale, or Rockerbox.
  • Strong organization and ability to use calendars, trackers, documented processes, and written briefs to keep agencies and workstreams on schedule.
  • Experience managing external agencies and holding them accountable to performance targets.
  • Good brand judgment, including the ability to identify and explain when creative is off-brand; design skills are not required.
  • Clear, concise written communication, with reports and recommendations understandable to people who were not in the meeting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL or a BI tool such as Looker, Metabase, or Mode for pulling and modeling data directly.
  • Exposure to B2B or trade marketing alongside DTC.
  • Experience at a company with on-demand or made-to-order fulfillment, where inventory constraints differ from traditional ecommerce.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own cross-channel performance reporting using multi-touch attribution, including the attribution model, supporting data pipeline, reconciliation of platform-reported and modeled figures, and weekly and monthly reports.
  • Plan, budget, and forecast DTC marketing spend across channels; set and track targets for CAC, ROAS, MER, contribution margin, and new-customer revenue.
  • Manage the paid media agency relationship, including briefs, budgets, creative requests, testing roadmaps, and performance reviews, and hold the agency accountable to targets.
  • Manage the email and SMS agency relationship, including the campaign calendar, flows, segmentation strategy, list growth, and deliverability, and hold the agency accountable to targets.
  • Coordinate the campaign calendar across channels with product launches, designer collaborations, promotions, and seasonal moments.
  • Partner with the creative team to brief and evaluate advertising and email creative, and translate performance data into creative direction.
  • Run structured tests of audiences, creative, offers, and landing pages, with clear hypotheses, sample sizes, and readouts.
  • Monitor on-site funnel metrics such as conversion rate, AOV, and checkout drop-off, and work with ecommerce and product teams on improvements.
  • Maintain tracking, including pixels, UTMs, server-side events, and the integrity of data flowing into the attribution model and analytics stack.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity options.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Paid time off and flexible vacation policy.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Professional development opportunities and learning stipend.
  • Collaborative, creative, and sustainability-focused work environment.
  • Access to Gantri-designed products and innovation initiative.
