Michels is seeking a Digital Learning & Development Manager to lead the strategy, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of its digital learning ecosystem. This role involves overseeing the Learning Management System (LMS), e-learning development, instructional design, digital content strategy, vendor partnerships, learning analytics, reporting, and the evaluation of emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will blend expertise in learning and development with technology, creativity, and innovative learning practices to create engaging and scalable learning experiences that foster employee growth and enhance business performance. This position is responsible for designing and developing learner-centered digital learning solutions using instructional design best practices, adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and modern learning methodologies. Key responsibilities include creating various digital learning formats such as e-learning, microlearning, video-based learning, assessments, and interactive experiences that effectively translate business and technical concepts into practical development opportunities. The manager will also act as the main point of contact for learning technology and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with business needs and delivering measurable value. Through analytics and reporting, the role will assess learning effectiveness, track engagement and adoption, identify areas for improvement, and provide insights to guide future learning strategies. Collaborating with L&D team members, business leaders, subject matter experts, and external partners, this individual will identify learning needs, propose scalable solutions, and manage digital learning initiatives from inception to completion. The successful candidate will champion innovation, contribute to the future of learning at Michels, and stay updated on trends in instructional design, learning technology, artificial intelligence, and talent development.
