The Digital Leadership Development Program (D LDP) is a three-year rotational program with 12 months spent in each rotation. The intention is for participants to spend three years within a specific domain/track of the digital organization, rotating within that track each year to provide exposure and build expertise. Upon completion, participants will continue in a permanent capacity in their development program's domain or track area. As a part of nVent's Leadership Develop Program, you'll join a cohort of early career professionals across various functions. Kickstart your journey in June 2025 with a comprehensive week of onboarding and training, setting the stage for your first rotation. The journey doesn't stop there—our program is designed with your growth in mind: Training & Development: Receive ongoing training each year of the rotational program to hone functional competencies, gain business insights, and develop leadership capabilities. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, IT, MIS, business analytics, or related field
  • Graduating in May/ June 2027 and available to begin full time employment in June 2027
  • Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions now or in the future
  • Geographic flexibility and willingness to relocate to Minneapolis, MN for the opportunity
  • Previous internship, club involvement, or related work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Experience with digital business technologies (Cloud, ERP Systems, CRM Systems, etc.)
  • Knowledge of common programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, SQL, Python, Java, etc.
  • Leadership experience and/or industry-related internship experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Gain exposure to several aspects of cybersecurity at nVent over the course of three years in the DLDP, learning skills that will prepare them for a full-time cybersecurity role helping to secure nVent products, operations, and data against cybersecurity attacks.
  • Provide a broad foundation in data and analytics with flexibility to specialize in areas that align with the candidate’s career aspirations.
  • Explore skills ranging from data collection & analysis; creation of reports and visualizations; understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management; and working with users to apply problem-solving skills to address real-world business challenges with data.
  • Provide a broad foundation in both functional and technical ERP modules and business processes with flexibility to specialize in areas that align with the candidate’s career aspirations.
  • Collaborate with business teams to investigate opportunities and problems; facilitate process mapping and requirements gathering.
  • Research functionality, identify and configure potential solution options within our Digital ecosystem.
  • Partner with technical development teams in defining, configuring, testing and implementing solutions.
  • Provide a broad foundation of project management and project execution skills with flexibility to specialize in areas that align with the candidate’s career aspirations.
  • Lead business and technical teams to deliver business value and new capabilities.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to proactively resolve risks, issues and dependencies to ensure on time, on budget delivery.
  • Facilitate execution through Scaled Agile and standard work to ensure reliable delivery of business value.
  • Gain exposure to several ERPs at nVent over the course of three years in the DLDP, learning skills that will prepare them for a full-time ERP role.
  • Troubleshoot system problems, provision and monitor user access, analyze secure data to maintain system integrity and learn deep knowledge in ERP fundamentals, different database knowledge, system programming and cloud concepts.
