Digital IT Intern
About The Position
Barge Design Solutions is looking for a hard-working and dedicated college student to intern with them next summer. This internship offers the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the field, learn from great mentors and leaders, and explore emerging technologies and their potential applications within an engineering and architecture organization. The intern will support the research, development, and testing of innovative digital solutions, assist with prototypes, proofs of concept, process automation, and technology pilots, and identify opportunities to improve workflows and business processes through technology. Additionally, the role involves supporting the evaluation and implementation of new digital tools, documenting solutions, processes, testing results, and recommendations, and collaborating with technical and business teams to understand challenges and develop potential solutions. The intern will also support Digital team project deliverables and collaborate on new ideas and innovations.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from an accredited university
- Major: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Interest in emerging technology, innovation, automation, and digital transformation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Exploring emerging technologies and their potential applications within an engineering and architecture organization
