About The Position
iMemories is seeking a Digital Ingest I team member to support the digitization of family memories. The role involves handling digital files, including uploading and downloading, basic editing for file manipulation, transferring files to servers or hard drives, and organizing, labeling, and managing digital files. Other duties may be assigned. This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week. Multiple shifts are available. Starting pay is $18 per hour, with eligibility for a pay increase every 90 days at the end of the quarter. Overtime may be required at the manager’s discretion. The position is based at iMemories’ air-conditioned warehouse in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Solid experience with different file structures.
- Experience with basic editing skills.
- Knowledge of working with digital files.
- Experience using file servers and understanding file-sharing concepts.
- Solid experience with digital media and file formats such as MP4, MOV, AVI, DV, and MPEG.
- Detail-oriented.
- Experience with Mac and/or PC computers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Comfort working within predetermined creative parameters.
- Ability to maintain quality and efficiency goals set by management.
- Ability to work as a team player.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of knowledge of film and photo formats.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and/or Final Cut Pro.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
