About The Position

iMemories, now part of Ancestry, preserves family memories stored on obsolete analog formats by converting them into digital keepsakes. The Digital Ingest I role is responsible for handling digital files, including uploading and downloading, basic editing and file manipulation, transferring files to servers or hard drives, and organizing, labeling, and managing digital files. This is a full-time position in Scottsdale, Arizona, scheduled for 40 hours per week. Multiple shifts are available. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with eligibility for a pay increase every 90 days at the end of the quarter. Overtime may be required at the manager’s discretion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Detail oriented.
• Experience with different file structures.
• Experience with basic editing skills.
• Knowledge of working with digital files.
• Experience using file servers and understanding file-sharing concepts.
• Experience with digital media and file formats such as MP4, MOV, AVI, DV, and MPEG.
• Experience with MAC and/or PC computers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Comfort working within predetermined creative parameters.
• Team player.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of knowledge of film and photo formats preferred.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and/or Final Cut Pro preferred.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities
