About The Position

The Image Digitization Ingest I is responsible for converting photographic materials into digital formats using customized hardware and software. The role scans negatives, slides, and prints; handles delicate, irreplaceable customer materials; and organizes, labels, and manages digital images in a file system. The employee maintains goals set by management, keeps the work area clean and organized, and performs other duties as assigned. This is a full-time, onsite position at iMemories in Scottsdale, Arizona, for 40 hours per week. Multiple shifts are available. Starting pay is $18 per hour, with eligibility for a pay increase every 90 days at the end of the quarter. Overtime may be required at the Manager’s discretion.

Requirements

Minimum of 1–2 years of knowledge of photographic formats.
Knowledge of professional scanning equipment and software.
Experience with different file structures and workflows.
Detail-oriented.
Experience with Mac and/or Windows operating systems.
Positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
Ability to lift 40 pounds without physical restrictions.
Ability to bend, stoop, lift, climb, and pull on a consistent basis.
Team player.
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Convert photographic materials to digital formats using customized hardware and software.
Scan photographic formats including negatives, slides, and prints.
Handle customers’ delicate and irreplaceable photographic materials for archiving.
Organize, label, and handle digital images in a file system.
Maintain goals set by management.
Keep the work area organized and clean.
Perform other duties as assigned.
