Digital Court Reporter - Contractor position

eScribers is seeking experienced digital court reporters for a contractor position. The successful candidate must have completed a training program or have relevant reporting experience. • Appear in-person for local and travel court reporting jobs
• Perform remote court reporting work
• Complete training program or have previous reporting experience
• Have reporting equipment before being onboarded
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Have experience or knowledge of legal proceedings
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism
• Meet all deadlines
• Upload and download files and use other basic computer functions
• Have a high-speed internet connection
• Have a reliable mode of transportation

• Compensation on a per project/assignments basis
• Daily appearance fee
• Travel expenses reimbursed, if necessary
• Commission on copy sales and exhibit handling
• Weekly pay via direct deposit
• Onboarding process with required paperwork and computer setup
• Familiarization with programs and workflow system
• Priority for work given to court reporters with excellent quality standards
