Digital Content Producer
About The Position
The Digital Content Producer oversees Tier 2 productions and provides direction and leadership with a storytelling mindset. The role develops and produces audio and visual content and features for web, broadcast, streaming, and other media for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, working with creative leadership to determine content needs and specifications. The producer develops content strategies and manages end-to-end workflows for Tier 2 and Tier 3 projects, including scripting, storyboarding, budgeting and expense tracking, scheduling, shooting, editing, and final delivery. The role collaborates with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to establish objectives, timelines, and deliverables; coordinates vendors and talent; and supervises crews and on-camera talent during productions. It also oversees video, audio, lighting, graphics, and post-production, manages multiple projects and digital assets, and ensures content meets brand guidelines, quality benchmarks, deadlines, and budgets.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Video Production, Media, Film, TV, or a related field, or two years of relevant experience.
- One year of continuous professional, non-linear editing experience.
- At least two years of experience editing with Adobe Premiere Pro Creative Cloud or similar editing software.
- One year of in-studio and field/floor directing, audio board, or mixer operation experience.
- Camera operation experience.
- Strong media management skills.
- File-sharing service experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multimedia content strategies that align with brand goals and audience needs.
- Conceptualize ideas and create scripts and storyboards for video productions.
- Manage end-to-end production workflows, including estimates, expense tracking, scheduling, shooting, editing, and final delivery of Tier 2 and Tier 3 projects.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to define project objectives, timelines, deliverables, and business goals.
- Coordinate and supervise production vendors and talent, including requesting quotes or bids and managing schedules for crew members and vendors.
- Oversee on-camera talent and production crews during shoots, ensuring quality performance and adherence to the creative vision.
- Oversee video, audio, lighting, graphics, and post-production elements to maintain professional standards.
- Record, edit, export, and upload video and sound projects; select output formats; capture or import media; organize raw media; edit footage and sound; and add graphics, titles, music, voice-over, and sound effects.
- Plan video shoots, including scouting, selecting, and reserving locations, and develop production schedules, scope, and budgets.
- Create and edit graphics and animations.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Ensure content follows brand guidelines and quality benchmarks and is polished, engaging, and appropriate for its platform.
- Manage and organize digital assets, including video libraries, raw footage, archived projects, and project media, for efficient retrieval and reuse.
- Investigate visual trends and current technologies.
- Work with customers and team members to help them tell their stories and establish project deliverables as part of a team.
- Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
