About The Position

The Digital Clerk fulfills customers’ online curbside orders by shopping accurately and quickly, collecting payment, and creating a smooth pickup experience from start to finish. The role includes customer service at the curbside pickup area, selecting and verifying products throughout the store, bagging and staging orders appropriately, and following food safety and store procedures. The clerk receives daily workflow through a dashboard and may support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly. Training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Able to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience preferred.
Past cashier experience preferred.
Past online ordering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide service at the curbside pickup area by accurately fulfilling orders and collecting payment for the carside experience.
Greet customers courteously and respond to their questions and needs, both in person and by phone.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly, partnering with leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
