About The Position

The Digital Clerk fulfills customers’ online curbside orders, helping drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping orders quickly and accurately and creating a smooth pickup experience from start to finish. The role involves receiving daily workflow through a dashboard, selecting and verifying products throughout the store, bagging and staging orders appropriately, and providing courteous service and payment collection at the curbside pickup area. The clerk also maintains a clean pickup area, follows food safety and bagging standards, resolves customer concerns with leadership when needed, and supports other tasks as needed. Training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Process-driven, with the ability to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience.
Past cashier experience.
Past online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
Greet customers courteously in person and by phone, and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly, partnering with leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
