About The Position

The Digital Clerk fulfills customers’ online curbside orders and supports a smooth, friendly pickup experience. The role involves shopping orders accurately and efficiently, collecting payment during carside pickup, and helping create customer loyalty and satisfaction. The clerk receives workflow through a dashboard, shops and verifies products throughout the store, bags and stages orders according to standards and food-safety guidelines, and keeps the pickup area clean and ready. The position also involves customer service, resolving concerns with leadership as needed, and supporting other tasks to keep operations running smoothly. Training is provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven, with the ability to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Past online ordering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service in the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection during the carside experience.
• Greet customers courteously in person and by phone, and respond to their questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly, partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food-safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
