About The Position

The Digital Automation Engineer 1 supports the production, quality assurance, and publishing of digital content across web and email channels. The role works extensively in enterprise content management systems (CMS) and other digital publishing platforms to build, update, test, troubleshoot, and publish content while ensuring accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and compliance with established standards. The position requires substantial hands-on experience in a professional CMS environment, including familiarity with structured content models, templates, components, publishing workflows, and governance standards. Working under the direction of a resource manager within Publishing Services, the Digital Automation Engineer 1 partners with project managers, editors, designers, developers, platform teams, and publishing personnel. Work is received through task-management systems or assigned directly by the resource manager for operational and process-improvement initiatives. The current work model is hybrid: the team works in the office every Monday and remotely for the rest of the week, subject to change. Church employees use their talents and abilities to further the Lord’s work and support the Church’s mission. Only Church members who are worthy of a temple recommend qualify for employment. The Church is an equal opportunity employer and provides reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with known disabilities.
