About The Position

As a Digital Account Management Associate at Clarivate, you will own a portfolio of customer accounts and play a hands-on role in driving renewals and new business within our Academia & Government segment. This entry-level role is fast-paced, high-volume, and perfect for someone who thrives on ownership, momentum, and daily wins. You will engage customers, execute sales processes with precision, and spot opportunities in real time—building core sales skills while contributing directly to retention and revenue growth across academic, government, nonprofit, and corporate customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year undergraduate) or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Microsoft Office Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Teams, LinkedIn, Power BI, and ZoomInfo
  • Background working with universities, publishers, corporations, and government/non-profit organizations engaged in research and discovery
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence platforms
  • Salesforce (SFDC) and general CRM experience

Responsibilities

  • Act as the product and sales expert for EndNote, with a strong understanding of client workflows, use cases, and value drivers
  • Translate customer pain points into solutions, demonstrating how EndNote delivers measurable value
  • Achieve/exceed territory sales plan by meeting retention and new business targets (subscription and transactional)
  • Forecast accurately to your direct manager with ongoing communication throughout each month
  • Work efficiently with customers and leads by following Clarivate’s sales cycle and defined Salesforce processes
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitor products and articulate differentiation strategies
  • Build long-term relationships in the academic, government, non-profit, and corporate sectors in North America
  • Maintain adequate telephone, email, and MS Teams/WebEx meeting volumes as defined by Sales Management
  • Create and update account profiles, actively hunt for new business, provide quotes, set up demonstrations, and book deals in Salesforce.com
  • Share customer insights, product knowledge, and sales best practices across the team
  • Track performance against clearly defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely
