About The Position

Nutrition that Works, LLC is seeking a consultant dietitian to serve a long-term care community in San Antonio, Texas. The position is 8 hours per week, with a flexible schedule and hybrid schedules considered. The role includes conducting clinical nutrition assessments, documenting care in an electronic medical record using the Nutrition Care Process, collaborating with the interdisciplinary care plan team, completing MDS Section K, calculating tube feeding (TF), and making recommendations related to wounds and significant weight changes.

Nutrition that Works, LLC has provided Registered Dietitian services to healthcare communities for over 15 years.

Requirements

• Credentialed by the CDR.
• Dietetic licensure.
• Positive attitude.
• Client-centered approach.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete clinical nutrition assessments.
• Document using the Nutrition Care Process in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care plan team.
• Complete MDS Section K.
• Calculate TF.
• Make recommendations for wounds and significant weight changes.
