About The Position

Under the direction of the manager Interprofessional Practice, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of patients. This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutrition care plans, diet counselling, evaluation of care and arrangement for follow-up care. The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team, shares department responsibilities and provides education experiences for dietetic interns. The caseload for this position will include adult acute care. This position will support LTC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))
  • Dietetic Internship certificate
  • Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians
  • Must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position.
  • Must bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search.
