About The Position

Under the direction of the manager Interprofessional Practice, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of patients. This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutrition care plans, diet counselling, evaluation of care and arrangement for follow-up care. The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team, shares department responsibilities and provides education experiences for dietetic interns. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))
  • Dietetic Internship certificate
  • Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians
  • Valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search (required at time of interview)
