Dietitian (RD/RDN) - Acute Care (Hybrid)
About The Position
Sodexo is hiring a Registered Dietitian for a full-time hybrid inpatient role at McLaren Flint Hospital, a 378-bed tertiary teaching hospital and level III trauma center located in Flint, Michigan. This position is open to new or experienced candidates and offers 50% remote access. The role involves providing exceptional nutrition care to patients in the inpatient setting, including critical care units, and requires proficiency in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification. The dietitian will work rotating weekends and holidays, providing hospital-wide coverage, and must be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process. Efficient and effective organization of clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities is essential, especially while working remotely 50% of the time.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credential
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.
- Minimum 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision.

- CNSC credential or ICU/nutrition support experience
Responsibilities
