About The Position
Join a great team where our residents and patients are at the heart of everything we do! Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full time hybrid position at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center located in Kalkaska, MI. This is a unique opportunity to practice in both acute care and long-term care settings. This role is flexible, with the option to work remotely on a weekly basis. Candidates interested in part time hours are also welcome to apply. This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus!
Requirements
- Be a Registered Dietitian (or RD eligible) and demonstrate a great clinical knowledge base
- Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills
- Be experienced with regulatory accreditation and establishing and maintaining standards of care
- Have a strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities
- Offer compassionate care to patients in the acute, subacute and long term care setting
- Support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects
- Provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with the food service operations team regarding meal provision and menu management
- Ensure DOH/State/Federal and company standards are being upheld
