About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time inpatient position with the Capital Health System in New Jersey. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide coverage at one of two campuses in Pennington and/or Trenton, NJ. This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credential.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in the inpatient setting, including critical care units.
• Be well versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification.
• Work rotating weekends and holidays providing hospital-wide coverage.
• Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process.
• Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.
