About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a inpatient/outpatient position with the Stormont Vail Health System, providing onsite coverage at their Flint Hills Campus in Junction City. Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will: Provide direct patient care on inpatient units with regular attendance of daily interdisciplinary rounds Initiate and grow outpatient nutrition services Educate food & nutrition staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals as needed Be the primary liaison with medical/nursing staff and represent the department on hospital-wide committees Assist in other initiatives as needed, including performance improvement, quality management, community events, and departmental tasks.
Requirements
- Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Have a strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care
- Be a Registered Dietitian and Licensed in Kansas
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
- 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
