About The Position

Come work for the world’s leading private employer of Registered Dietitians! Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time inpatient position at Renown Regional Medical Center, located in Reno, NV. Renown Regional has 800 beds and serves as the region’s only Level II Trauma Center. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide coverage on a variety of units and may serve as primary or secondary coverage for the NICU and pediatric floors.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in Nevada.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Nice To Haves

Pediatrics and NICU experience (or an interest in working with these populations) preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on inpatient units.
Work rotating Saturdays and holidays providing whole hospital coverage.
Participate in departmental tasks, including meal rounds and audits, as assigned.
Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process.
Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.
