About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Inpatient Registered Dietitian to join our UCHealth Southern Region Dietitian Team, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Southern Region includes Memorial Hospital Central, Memorial Hospital North, and Grandview Hospital which is ~600 beds. Memorial Hospital Central has a Level 1 Trauma designation along with other national certifications including stroke, cardiovascular and orthopedic care. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Dietitian!

Requirements

Be a Registered Dietitian with experience in acute care and/or long-term nutrition care (2 Years experience including nutrition support)
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
7+ months general supervision
3 years experienced specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty

Responsibilities

Provide nutrition care to patients with a variety of disease states on the inpatient units
Participate in Performance Improvement and Patient Satisfaction projects
Demonstrate excellent communication, customer, and time management skills
Thrive in a high energy and demanding environment and be flexible and able to adapt to a changing patient population
Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Engage in physician and multidisciplinary team rounding on patient care units
Educate health care team members, including physicians, nurses, and food service staff
Work a rotating weekend/holiday schedule
