Dietitian Nutritionist
About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Inpatient Clinical Dietitian with UNC Health Wayne, a 300-bed acute care community hospital located in Goldsboro, NC. This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. This is a great opportunity for a new Dietitian to be part of a collaborative team and supportive leadership. The role involves providing exceptional nutrition care to patients on inpatient units, demonstrating knowledge of the nutrition care process, and providing education for interdisciplinary team members, patients, and/or family members. The dietitian will also serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns as needed, participate in quality improvement projects, and efficiently organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credential and have state licensure (LDN) in NC
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal oversight in collaboration with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
