About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Inpatient Clinical Dietitian with UNC Health Wayne, a 300-bed acute care community hospital located in Goldsboro, NC ~ 1 hour from Raleigh and 1.5 hours from the NC beaches. This is a great opportunity for a new Dietitian to be apart of a collaborative team and supportive leadership! Flexible Work Schedule Available with One Remote Day Per Week!

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credential and have state licensure (LDN) in NC
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal oversight in collaboration with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Nice To Haves

• Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns, as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on inpatient units
• Demonstrate knowledge of the nutrition care process
• Provide education for interdisciplinary team members, patients and/or family members
• Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns, as needed
• Participate in quality improvement projects and other initiatives as part of the clinical team
• Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities
