About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for Comanche County Memorial Hospital, a 283-bed teaching hospital in Lawton, OK. This role involves providing nutritional care for various inpatient units, educating healthcare team members, and performing quality improvement initiatives. The position is open to new graduates and experienced dietitians. The hospital is located near the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and is within driving distance of Oklahoma City and Dallas/Fort Worth.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in OK
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player
• The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff

Nice To Haves

• 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
• Work a rotating holiday coverage schedule providing hospital wide coverage (no weekends)
• Perform quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department
• Educate health care team members, including physicians and nurses
• Assist the Food Service Management team, as needed
