About The Position

Come work for the world’s leading private employer of Registered Dietitians! Sodexo is seeking a Full time Registered Dietitian for UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital located in Highlands Ranch, CO. Established in 2019, UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital is a 93-bed acute care hospital providing a wide range of diagnostic tests, surgeries and treatments for the community.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian required
• CNSC certification preferred with experience in a clinical healthcare setting
• Strong clinical skills with emphasis in nutrition support, including enteral and parenteral nutrition including critical care (ICU) experience
• Excellent time management skills, be a self-starter and team player, with the ability to work well independently
• Communicate and work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
• Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
• For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
• In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare setting preferred
• Have availability for the Rotating weekend and holiday as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
• Provide nutrition education to patients regarding their acute and/or chronic diseases
• Utilize electronic health record charting (Epic) for patient charting
• Effectively round with employees, physicians, and nursing staff on a regular basis to ensure nutrition needs are being met
• Perform Quality Improvement initiatives such as Patient Satisfaction rounds and test trays
