About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Clinical Dietitian for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center main campus in Baton Rouge, LA. Our Lady of the Lake main campus is a Level 1 Trauma Center with over 900 licensed beds. You will work with very high acuity patients in this role, so a CNSC credential is preferred. An additional full-time position is available, ideal for a newly licensed Dietitian looking to grow and gain clinical experience. New Grads are welcome to apply!

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in LA (or ability to obtain).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good time management skills, be a self-starter and a team player.
• Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
• 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• CNSC credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units.
• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses.
• Precept dietetic interns.
