This position provides nutrition services to patients on assigned unit(s) by designing, implementing, evaluating, monitoring, revising and documenting appropriate nutritional care plans for patients requiring nutrition support, including parenteral nutrition. The role involves acting as a resource person for parenteral nutrition and/or critical care nutrition support for other dietitians and health care professionals. Additionally, the position contributes to the development of nutrition practice guidelines, procedures, research, and quality improvement initiatives for the program.
