About The Position

Take the next step in your career with TouchPoint in Grand Blanc, MI! We are seeking an experienced Nutrition Support Dietitian to provide advanced clinical nutrition care within a fast-paced acute care environment. This role will primarily support critically ill patients in the ICU while overseeing in-house TPN management across multiple units and providing expertise with MPU feeding tube recommendations and nutrition support. Beyond direct patient care, this position will also contribute to departmental initiatives, including Food Service support, intern precepting, and participation in Resident and Fellow education programs. You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

Requirements

  • Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • CNSC credential preferred or able to obtain within 1 year of hire
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
  • Oversee in-house TPN management across multiple units
  • Provide expertise with MPU feeding tube recommendations and nutrition support
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives, including Food Service support, intern precepting, and participation in Resident and Fellow education programs
