CRITICAL CARE DIETITIAN
About The Position
Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare in Southaven, MS! This position is located at Morrison Healthcare at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in an Inpatient setting. The schedule is Monday-Friday with rotating weekends. The requirement is to be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible. This role primarily supports ICU patients, with cross-coverage on med/surg floors. CNSC is preferred or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire. Salary ranges from $60,000.00-$67,000.00/year or based on experience. Relocation assistance is offered.
Requirements
- Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible
- Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
- Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
- Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
- Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
- Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
