About The Position
Lyon Specialty Care, a 45-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Rock Rapids, Iowa, is hiring part-time dietary staff for a mix of day and evening shifts. The role supports residents by providing food service and maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary work areas. Staff serve hot and cold food portions, set up and clear tables, transport food carts, and deliver trays to residents’ rooms while providing exceptional customer service. The position requires demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service, the ability to follow written and oral instructions, and willingness to complete training in food safety, sanitation, and modified diets. Experience in a healthcare dietary setting is a plus.
