About The Position
Care Initiatives is hiring Dietary Staff to support food service in its skilled nursing communities throughout Iowa. This role performs food table service, serves meals to residents, transports food carts and trays, and helps keep work areas safe and sanitary. The position is full-time on days.
Requirements
- Demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service.
- Willingness to complete training in food safety, sanitation, and modified diets.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a healthcare dietary setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve hot and cold food portions to residents.
- Set up and clear tables.
- Transport food carts.
- Deliver trays to residents’ rooms while providing exceptional customer service.
- Perform cleaning duties and maintain safe, sanitary work areas.
