About The Position
Promise Care Center, a RCF facility, is accepting applications for a Dietary Manager. The ideal candidate has experience in food preparation, menu planning, and meal preparation in a kitchen setting. Candidates must be flexible and available to work varying shift times, weekends, and/or holidays. Experience in a long-term care facility or hotel setting is preferred. This position offers the opportunity to showcase culinary skills in a dynamic environment and provide exceptional dining experiences.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with menu planning and catering concepts.
- Ability to use kitchen equipment such as knives effectively.
- Flexibility and availability to work varying shift times, weekends, and/or holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a long-term care facility or hotel setting.
- Experience in fine dining establishments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus.
- Ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
- Follow proper food handling procedures and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Order food and dietary supplies weekly.
