About The Position
TLC Nursing Center is hiring Dietary Cooks to prepare and serve high-quality meals to residents in a warm, homelike care setting. The role is part of the Dietary Department and works closely with the kitchen team. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, and training will be provided. Multiple shifts are available, with both part-time and full-time positions offered.

- Candidates may be subject to background checks, which may include criminal history, employment and education verification, and reference checks.
- Candidates receiving a conditional offer may be required to undergo drug screening.

Responsibilities
- Prepare nutritious meals, snacks, and beverages according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Cook and serve meals while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the dietary manager or supervisor on menus that meet residents’ nutritional needs and preferences.
- Assist with kitchen cleanliness and maintenance to uphold sanitation standards.
- Monitor food inventory and place orders as needed to maintain adequate supplies.
- Assist with facility special events and activities, including holiday meals and themed dining experiences.
- Participate in educational programs on nutrition to develop knowledge and skills.
