About The Position

The Dietary Cook prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, CareOne’s established policies and procedures, and directions from the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services. The role helps ensure quality food service at all times and supports CareOne’s dining program, which features personalized menu choices and tableside cooking.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• One year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services.
