Dietary Aide – Senior Living
About The Position
Allegro Winter Park is hiring part-time Dietary Aides for its dining team at a senior living community in Winter Park, Florida. The role supports residents’ dining experiences by serving meals and beverages, assisting with dining room setup and cleanup, supporting food preparation and plating, and responding respectfully to residents’ dietary preferences and requests. The position includes morning and afternoon hours, a rotating schedule, and no late nights, with 8–34 hours per week. Pay is $15.00 per hour. Multiple openings are available. The posting also describes server duties, including greeting and seating residents and guests, serving food efficiently, clearing tables, cleaning and sanitizing dining areas after meal periods, delivering and retrieving trays from residents’ apartments as needed, and labeling and dating food. Other duties may be assigned. No certifications are required; training is provided. The community is a drug-free workplace, and associates are subject to its drug-free workplace policy.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must have a positive criminal background screening.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability, safety awareness, and teamwork.
- Must adhere to the company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Responsibilities
- Serve meals and beverages to residents in a warm, attentive, respectful, and professional manner.
- Assist with dining room setup, table service, and post-meal breakdown.
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation and plating as needed.
- Honor residents’ dietary preferences and individual requests.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment; wipe down and sanitize chairs, windows, floors, and work areas after each meal period.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
- Clear glasses, silverware, dishes, and other items according to company protocol after a course or meal.
- Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
- Label and date all food.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
