About The Position

Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehab Center is hiring a Dietary Aide to help provide patients with a positive culinary experience. The role supports meal preparation, plating and tray assembly, food service, and cleaning in kitchen and dining areas while maintaining applicable guidelines and regulations. Dietary Aides are expected to provide excellent, hospitable customer service to guests, families, and visitors and help foster a positive environment.

The position is available full time or part time, with shifts that include rotating weekends and some holidays. No late nights are required. Starting pay is $16.35 per hour, consisting of a $15.50 base wage plus $0.85 per hour in Hero Pay. Yearly wage increases are also offered. The facility is located at 3254 E. Midland Rd., Bay City, MI 48706.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Excellent customer service skills and commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care.
• Ability to work as a team player and support team members to get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing meals in accordance with necessary guidelines and regulations.
• Plate food and assemble meal trays.
• Assist with serving in the dining room or delivering trays to patient rooms.
• Complete daily cleaning requirements in kitchen and dining areas.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Help promote a positive, healthy environment through kind words and encouragement.
