About The Position

Focused Post Acute Care Partners is seeking a Dietary Aide to support food preparation, meal delivery, meal service cleanup, and sanitation in accordance with regulatory standards and Department of Food & Nutrition Services policies and procedures. The role includes helping the cook, washing dishes and utensils, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and using equipment and cleaning compounds safely. The Dietary Aide promotes positive customer service with residents, families, guests, and team members. Other duties may be required as needed.

Requirements

Must have a ROCKSTAR attitude.
Ability to read, write, and speak English, communicate effectively, and carry out verbal and/or written instructions.
Food Handler's Certification must be presented during orientation and before working in the kitchen.
Ability to safely push, pull, lift, bend, kneel, and reach, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to maintain regular attendance in accordance with the FPACP attendance policy.

Responsibilities

Assist the cook with food preparation and delivery and/or collect and wash dishes and utensils according to shift assignments.
Handle chemicals and cleaning compounds properly, using personal protective equipment and following safety guidelines.
Maintain clean and safe work areas in accordance with sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures.
Perform scheduled cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing walls and equipment while wearing PPE as instructed.
Use equipment safely and promptly report equipment that needs service or repair.
Follow appropriate workplace behavior and the Department of Food & Nutrition Services dress code.
Promote positive customer service with residents, family members, guests, and team members.
Perform other duties as needed.
