About The Position
Focused Post Acute Care Partners is seeking a Floor Technician for Focused Care at Gilmer in Gilmer, Texas. The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining facility cleanliness, including buffing and waxing floors and handling facility trash. The role works closely with the housekeeping and maintenance director. This is a non-exempt position with a schedule assigned by the employer, including some weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in industrial floor care.
- Ability to safely push, pull, lift, bend, kneel, and reach, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Buff and wax floors.
- Empty facility trash.
- Notify the supervisor when supplies are needed.
- Notify the supervisor when equipment needs repair.
- Notify the supervisor when a facility area needs repair.
