About The Position
The Dietary Aide serves meals, snacks, and beverages to residents while considering their dietary preferences and restrictions. The role prepares dining areas for clean, welcoming meals and social gatherings, helps maintain a sanitary and organized kitchen in compliance with safety and sanitation protocols, and interacts with residents compassionately, reflecting the values of love, compassion, and dignity.
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Complete a ServSafe Food Handler Certification within 90 days of the start date.
- Demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Serve high-quality, nourishing meals, snacks, and beverages to residents while considering dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Prepare dining areas to provide a clean and welcoming environment for resident social gatherings and meals.
- Help maintain a sanitary and organized kitchen and comply with safety and sanitation protocols.
- Engage with residents compassionately and help create a warm, supportive environment.
