About The Position

Under the direction of the dietitian, the Diet Clerk performs clinical support functions related to approving therapeutic menu selections and ensuring the accuracy and appropriate temperatures of patient trays. The position is per diem and works day shifts on an 8-hour schedule at Dallas Regional Medical Center.

Requirements

• County-specific Food Handlers certification is required upon hire and must be kept current.

Nice To Haves

• Associate of Arts degree in Food Science or Nutrition preferred.
• One year of healthcare experience working with modified diets preferred.
