About The Position

This role sits within CRST's Equipment Solutions maintenance organization and supports the fleet operations that keep drivers, customers, and equipment moving safely and reliably. Technicians play a critical role in delivering safe, dependable service by maintaining the equipment the business relies on every day. This is a hands-on role where you'll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and help ensure equipment is ready when operations need it.

Requirements

Ability to perform maintenance and repairs on Class 8 tractors and trailers
Ability to complete inspections, repair orders, and related documentation accurately
Ability to work in a shop environment including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Must meet minimum tool requirements

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent
Technical training in diesel technology, heavy equipment maintenance, or a related field
ASE certifications or other relevant maintenance certifications
Experience working in a fleet maintenance or transportation environment

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repair work on Class 8 tractors and trailers
Diagnose issues and complete repairs that improve equipment reliability and uptime
Complete required inspections and documentation to support DOT compliance standards
Accurately record repair details, labor hours, and parts used
Move equipment safely throughout the yard and service facility as needed
Use shop tools and equipment safely and effectively
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
