About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions is hiring a Diesel Technician in Pooler, Georgia. The role is responsible for timely maintenance and repair of medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles to support safe, efficient, and reliable fleet operations. The position pays $30–$35 per hour, based on experience, with weekly pay every Friday. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. A performance-based SRT bonus opportunity of up to $15,000 annually is paid monthly.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox needed to perform job duties.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
• Document repairs and complete work orders.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Work with supervisors and team members to keep fleets operational.
