Diesel Technician Apprentice
About The Position
Diesel Technician Apprentices work in a fast-paced environment, help maintain clean places, and interact with customers and drivers. Professional experience is not required; Love’s provides training through its apprentice program. Apprentices learn diagnostics and repairs for electrical, air conditioning and heating, wheel-end assembly, air systems, air brakes, and charging systems, as well as basic computer diagnostics, auxiliary component replacement, and parts lookup and acquisition. The role also includes assisting customers with roadside services and learning preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 75 or more pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation; Love’s pays for it.

- Mechanical inclination; professional experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with roadside services.
- Learn preventative maintenance services.
