Lanier Technical College – Hall County campus is conducting a search for the following full-time, salaried, FLSA-exempt, benefit-eligible position. This full-time position will deliver courses for Lanier Technical College’s Diesel Equipment Technology program at the Hall campus and/or Lanier Career and College Academy locations. Under general supervision, responsibilities include the following: Develop program and course outlines, goals, and objectives. Prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited technology courses. Develop syllabi to meet program and school objectives. Evaluate student progress in attaining goals and objectives. Request and maintain supplies and equipment, and prepares required budget requests. Maintain program certification requirements, as appropriate. Prepare and maintain all required documentation and administrative reports. Attend required staff development training, workshops, and seminars. Ensure safety and security requirements are met in the training area. Meet with students, staff members and other educators to discuss students' instructional programs and other issues impacting the progress of the students. Assist with program recruitment, retention and job placement efforts. Conduct bi-annual program industry advisory committee meetings.
