About The Position
Savannah Technical College is seeking a Part Time/Adjunct Diesel Equipment Technology program instructor. The instructor is responsible for teaching students in classroom and lab environments.
Requirements
- Must have five (5) years of medium/heavy diesel work experience within the past seven (7) years.
- Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills along with computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Diploma in Diesel Equipment Technology preferred.
- Current ASE Certification in T2-T8 preferred.
- Teaching experience at a postsecondary institution is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment and retention of students.
- Evaluating students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives.
- Daily teaching duties include class lecture, lesson planning, and classroom management.
- Ensuring safety and security requirements are met in the classroom and laboratory.
